Vinyl

a home for a record player and its associated objects

Comprised of clean lines and minimalist by design, the console seeks to stand in contrast to the colorful and weathered nature of record collections. A division between top and bottom, articulated by a 1-inch gap, allows for two records to be displayed above and creates space for the storage of +/- 150 records below. The console is made entirely of maple. A white pickling stain is used on the top while the bottom is treated with Danish Oil. Both finishes protect the integrity of the wood while leaving visible its natural grain and preserving its texture.
